KPAC4 4-lead cable, in which case the V1-V6 channels operate with shorted inputs
and preparation for the measurement is also simple –place the limb clips only.
Warning!
When using the 10-lead cable, noisy signal similar to ECG signal is visible on
channels V1-V6, which is to be disregarded, so this signal cannot be associated with
any standard lead! The device automatically recognizes the type KPAC4 cable and
leads V1...V6 do not appear when used.
 Select limb lead, for example lead II for monitored lead.
 If one of V1...V6 is set for rhythm lead and the KPAC4 4-lead cable is used, the
rhythm curve is automatically made from lead II.
 Before starting the program, make sure there is paper in the printer.
During monitoring, press the
Warning!
For the device to correctly determine the heart rate, stable ECG signal has to appear on
the display at least 2 seconds before starting storage.
If, when starting the program, there is no enough free memory for record storage, the program
will not start and the
warnings will appear on the display. Press the
device returns to monitoring mode. In such case, delete some records from the catalogue to be
able to make new ones. (See Section no. 11.2)

9.1.2. Running the program

When starting the program, the program name appears in the upper line, in the middle, along
with a counter, which indicates the required time until the end of the data acquisition needed
for the program.
During the running of the program, the complete rhythm curve, about the selected lead is
stored and also the result of the rhythm analysis.
When the counter reaches 0, the program performs further data processing, after data
acquisition. A patient identifier and a patient name can be assigned to the record (see later), or
the device automatically generates an ID to the record. Its format is AUTO xxxx, where xxxx
indicates an incrementing serial number. Then the catalog appears, indicating the new record
in inverse:
