Device Description

The I/O module 750-563/040-000 (2AO 0/4-20mA/ 6-18V DC/ 16Bit /XTR)
generates ...
Adjustable output currents in the range of 0/4 mA ... 20 mA
Adjustable output voltages in the range of:

The I/O module has 2 short circuit protected output channels and enables the
direct wiring of 2 2-conductor actuators.
The actuators are connected to the CAGE CLAMP
common (ground) or AO 2 and common (ground).
In addition, the sense lines from 4-wire actuators can be connected to −Sense
AO 1 and +Sense AO 1 or −Sense AO 2 and +Sense AO 2.
The integrated drivers of the end levels are temperature-monitored.
The channels have a common ground potential.
The assignment of the connections is described in the "Connectors" section.
Connection examples are shown in section "Connect Devices" > ... >
"Connection Example(s)".
The operational readiness and the trouble-free local bus communication of the
channels are indicated via a green function LED.
A red error LED indicates a short circuit or overcurrent.
The meaning of the LEDs is described in the "Display Elements" section.
The calibration data is stored individually for each operating mode and can be
scaled. For the process data output, a lower and an upper limiting value can be
specified.
In addition, a number of setting options can be made:
Calibration data switching
Switching of number format and notation
Output behavior in the event of local bus timeout
(Repeat) switch-on delay after overtemperature shutdown
Power to the internal electronics is supplied via both the internal data bus and the
field supply.
Both the 5 V system supply (local bus) and the 24 V field power supply (power
jumper contacts) are monitored for undervoltage.
The I/O module 750-563/040-000 (2AO 0/4-20mA/ 6-18V DC/ 16Bit /XTR)
receives the 24 V voltage supply for the field level from an upstream I/O module
or from the fieldbus coupler/controller via blade-formed power jumper contacts. It
then provides these potentials to subsequent I/O modules via spring-formed
power jumper contacts.
6 V ... 18 V (with restricted minimum voltage 24 V - 10% = 21.6 V)
6 V ... 15 V (with minimum voltage 24 V - 15% = 20.4 V)
