2� LT30 Tandem Adjust
The LT30 comes standard with a three position manually adjustable tandem. The tandem can be used to
help balance a load or adjust the tongue weight for added traction if required.
To ensure snag free adjustment, check that the trailer is on level ground and that the frame is not under
tension or twisted.
a. To adjust the tandem, have your trailer attached
to the tow vehicle. You may have to chock the
trailer wheels.
b. Remove the tandem nut and bolt as shown.
c. To move the tandem back, drive the tow vehicle
forward.
d. To move the tandem forward drive the tow
vehicle back.
e. Once the tandem is in position, reinstall the nut
and bolt.
