Add the Static Routes information. When configuring static routes through the IP network
viewpoint, you are configuring the static routes that lead to this subnet. (Note that this is
different from how you usually view static routes; usually when you configure a static route
you are configuring routes that start at the site you are configuring.) In this case, we want a
default static route from site Rem_1204 leading to site Central. All IP packets that do not have
an explicit routing table entry will be sent to the default route. To configure the default route:
a.
Double click on the <DEFAULT ROUTE> Subnet Name (at the window shown below).
b. Click on the Static Routes tab.
c.
Click on Add.
d. Select Rem_1204 as the Source Site Name. This is where the static route begins.
e.
Make sure Use Wan UnNumbered Interface is enabled with a check mark, then select Central
as the Next Hop Site Name.
f.
Click OK, then return to the initial IP subnet window so that we can configure our next
subnet.
