3-2-3 Grounding

Be sure to carry out correct grounding, in order to prevent accidents and assure the safety of the operator.
When using AC power, connect the amplifier to a power source using the accessory AC power cable
(3-prong). The grounding will then be carried out automatically.
NOTE
When using the accessory 3p - 2p conversion plug (CM-52), be sure to ground its earth terminal
(green).

3-3 INITIAL SETTING

Set all "Setting Switches 1 to 4" to OFF.
MEMO
Note that "Setting Switch 1" is not necessarily to
set to OFF when operating multiple DPM-900/950
series units at a time.
Read "5-11 OSC SYNCHRONOUS."
NOTE
Although the "Setting Switch 4" is usually turned OFF, set the "Setting Switch 4" to ON only
when using the Rotary Transformer Torque Transducer or Inductance-Type Displacement
Transducer with the DPM-911/951.
For details, read "5-15 TPN/DLT MEASURING MODE."
No operation of the DPM-912/913/952 changes whether ON or OFF is selected.
