6. OPTIONS

This chapter describes all options that can be used together with the DPM-900/950 series.
These options are available for separate purchasing.

6-1 BRIDGE BOX

The bridge box can be conveniently used for measuring strains with strain gages. The bridge box
incorporates highly stable resistors to allow a variety of strain gage bridges.

6-1-1 Functions of Bridge Box

The bridge box comes with three internal fixed resistors, which enable the strain gage bridge
configurations as follows.
For connections other full bridge method, the internal fixed resistors are used as dummy gages.
1) Quarter bridge system
2) Half bridge system
3) Full bridge system

6-1-2 Models of Bridge Box

The following models are provided.
1) DB-120A, DB-120L, and DBB-120A
For 120 ohm strain gages.
2) DB-350A
For 350 ohm strain gages.
