With a strain-gage, estimate the strain with due regard to the material and construction of a measuring object.
Set the value as the standard and set the internal gain in the same way.
NOTE
After setting the internal gain,
"9-4 TROUBLESHOOTING."
After connecting or changing the sensor, be sure to bridge check the DPM-900/950 series before
setting the internal gain.
Set the VOLTAGE OUT switch from "1.00" to "10.00."
When the setting value is less than "1.00," it may not satisfy for specification of sensitivity
adjuster accuracy.
MEMO
The rated capacity and rated output of the strain-gage transducer are found in its Test Data Sheet.
When using the TEDS installed strain gage transducer, read the TEDS information to set the
internal gain. The internal gain can be easily set.
When using the actual load or external calibrator, use the ACTL LOAD to set the internal gain.
The internal gain can be accurately set.
For details, read "5-7 SETTING INTERNAL GAIN."

4-6-2 Setting Low-pass Filter

The low-pass filter is used for setting limits to the frequency
range of outgoing signals normally.
For not limiting the frequency range, set the filter to "FLAT,"
thereby inactivating the filtering function.
Press the < or > of the L.P.F. switch to set a target L.P.F. lamp.
For details, read "5-8 LOW-PASS FILTER" and "9-2
LOW-PASS FILTER CHARACTERISTICS."

4-6-3 Setting High-pass Filter

The high-pass filter is used for eliminating the DC component
of outgoing signals normally.
As a routine, it is not necessary to set.
Press and hold the H.P.F. switch for valid.
Press again for invalid.
When the H.P.F. is valid, the H.P.F. lamp lights up and the
cutoff frequency of that time is 0.2 Hz.
When the H.P.F. is invalid, the H.P.F. lamp lights out.
NOTE
After valid the H.P.F., be sure to conduct the balancing before the measurement. (When the input is
saturated, accurate measurement cannot be conducted.) In addition when outputting the calibration
signal by pressing the CAL switch with the H.P.F. lamp lights up, the calibration signal is not added
to the output. Turn OFF the H.P.F. lamp and output the calibration signal. In the case where nothing
is connected to the input, even if the high pass filter is enabled, the output saturates minus (Only
DPM-913C.)
