4-3 TURNING ON AND OFF THE POWER
Turning ON and OFF the power is the most important operation. Read the following instructions carefully.
4-3-1 Turning ON the Power
Prior to turning ON, make sure the input/output connector and
power are correctly connected.
MEMO
For connection, read the following.
"3-1 SETTING UP INPUT/OUTPUT INSTRUMENT"
"3-2 CONNECTION OF POWER"
"4-1 CONNECTION OF INPUT"
"4-2 CONNECTION OF OUTPUT"
Press the POWER switch until it clicks.
At this time, all LEDs illuminate for about 3 seconds. After that, measuring conditions are set and the
DPM-900/950 series become measuring state.
NOTE
After turning ON the power, be sure to bridge check the DPM-900/950 series before
measurement. (However, excluding cases using Rotary Transformer Torque Transducer.)
For details, read "5-4 BRIDGE CHECK."
4-3-2 Turning OFF the Power
Press the POWER switch.
All indications disappear.
NOTE
The DPM-900/950 series maintains all measuring parameters in its internal nonvolatile memory
all the time.
However, saving of parameters may fail if the power is turned OFF immediately after the
renewal. To prevent it, after conducting the zero adjustment, sensitivity fine adjustment,
changing LPF setting or HPF setting, wait 3 seconds or more and turn OFF the power. In
addition, if you turned OFF the power without setting the internal gain after changing mode to
the TEDS or ACTL LOAD mode, turning ON the power again changes the TEDS mode or
ACTL MODE to the normal mode. (Conduct the internal gain setting to maintain the current
mode.)
