NOTE
In order to achieve OSC synchronization, all dynamic strain amplifiers need to provide a
same frequency of the excitation voltage.
Up to 50 units of the DPM-900/950 series can achieve synchronization with one unit acting
as the master.
Before connecting the OSC terminals, be sure to turn OFF the DPM-900/950 series.
Do not connect multiple units with "Setting Switch 1" set to ON (MANU) and "Setting
Switch 2" set to OFF (INT).
If the INT lamps illuminate on multiple units after turning ON with the OSC terminals
connected, check whether multiple DPM-900/950 series units with "Setting Switch 1" set to
ON and "Setting Switch 2" to OFF exist. Turn OFF the units once and correct set the setting
switches. Then turn ON the units once again.
When the master is changed, the bridge power of the slave side may vary. In such case, set
the internal gain again. (When the excitation voltage is changed, the output accuracy will be
approximately the same as before changing by readjusting the internal gain.)
When the internal OSC circuit broken,
appears on the monitor to indicate the
error. (When setting as the master.)
When the input OSC signal of the OSC input/output terminal is not specifying the
specifications of the excitation voltage,
appears on the monitor to indicate the
error. (When setting as slave.)
Where conventional KYOWA's amplifiers (such as DPM-700 series or DPM-600 series,
etc.) are to be synchronized with the DPM-900/950 series, use the DPM-900/950 series as
slave. Also, read the instruction manual of each model because setting method is slightly
different.
