Utility Requirements

Electrical requirements

The 3050-AMS Moisture Analyzer must be installed in a general purpose
area. It does not have an On/Off power switch so power must be applied
through a circuit breaker switch at the AC source.
General Purpose installation:
Power connection can be made using the supplied power cord(s) ter-

minated with a locally approved wall socket plug, or
the analyzer can be hardwired.


Instrument air supply

Use dry instrument air ( 70 to 100 PSI) that is free of oils and other
contaminants for valve operation. N

If there is any doubt about the cleanliness of the air supply, con-
nect it through oil / air separators.
Air tubing must be fitted to a 1 /4 inch Swagelok® fitting.

Sample Temperature and Pressure Requirements

Inlet sample temperature:

For optimum performance, sample line should be heat traced to main-
tain a constant sample temperature.

shut-off valve.
