Proportional Solenoid Valve (PSV) PCB
The Proportional Solenoid Valve PCB (AMETEK Part #305705901) is found
on the top corner of the PCB board(Figure 7-7). To remove the PSV board,
loosen the knurled screw that holds the board in place and carefully
lift the board off by disengaging the series of pins holding it to the PCB
board. Replace the board by carefully engaging the series of pin connec-
tors on the PSV board to the PCB board to remount (Figure 7-8).
Analog Interface PCB
The Analog Interface PCB (AMETEK Part #591210901) is located on top of
the MCU PCB at the front of the electronic module (Figures 7-7 and 7-9).
Removing the analog interface PCB
•
Remove the three knurled screws that hold the board in place. One of
the screws holds the PSV board in place. Detach as described above.
•
Unplug the connectors attached to the Analog PCB board (Figure 7-7
and Figure 7-9).
•
Carefully, lift the board until it slides free of the connector.
Replacing the analog interface PCB
•
Position the new analog interface PCB on the connector and press
firmly to insert.
•
Replace the screws removed earlier, replacing the PSV board as well.
Do not overtighten.
•
Plug in the analog interface board connectors and the PSV
board connector.
MCU PCB
The MCU PCB (AMETEK Part #591130901) is located below the Analog
Interface PCB (Figure 7-7).
Removing the MCU PCB
•
Remove the analog interface PCB as described in the previous section.
•
Using a 1/16" hex wrench, remove the four standoffs that hold the
MCU board in place. Unplug all connectors (Figure 7-10).
Replacing the MCU PCB
•
Install the new MCU PCB on the mounting plate using the four stand-
offs removed and a 1/16" hex wrench.
•
Remount the analog interface PCB as described in the previous section.
