speed <rate>

Purpose

Use the speed command to specify the data rate for the
your VT100 terminal emulator or emulator software. Use the form of this command to restore
the default value.

Syntax Description

Table 30
displays the syntax description for the speed <rate> command.

Default Values

The rate is set to 9600 bps.

Command Modes

The Console Interface Configuration Mode is required for this command.

Usage Examples

Configure the CONSOLE port for 19200 bps.
