encapsulation <option>

Purpose

Use the encapsulation <option> command to set the type of encapsulation to use for the IMA
PVC.

Syntax Description

Table 23 displays the syntax descriptions for the encapsulation <option> command.

Default Values

The encapsulation option is set to llc.

Command Modes

The IMA PVC Interface Configuration Mode is required for this command.

Usage Examples

Set the IMA PVC encapsulation to RFC2684 VC-MUX encapsulation. For this example the IMA
interface PVC has already been set to 0/35.
