operation, the channel rate for the ISU 512e can be con-

rate. When 56
is selected, bandwidth from 1x56 kbps to 8x56

Line 1 must always be connected for leased line applications
to function properly. Once line 1 is connected, the ISU 512e
will wait for all lines required to achieve the maximum bit
rate to show READY. If this does not occur, the ISU 512e
will time out and place a call using all the available lines
once line 1 becomes READY.
