INSPECT THE SERVICE BRAKE

Disc Brake Pads

NOTE: The brake pad must be removed to accurately measure the lining thickness. Refer to Replace
the Front or Rear Brake Pads section for information on removing the brake pads.
Measure the brake pad lining at the thinnest point on the pad. If the brake pad lining is 1/16-inch or less
then the brake pad must be replaced.
It is recommended to replace the left and right side brake pads as a set.
