6.4 Consumable Inspection

When the cut quality is not satisfactory, use the following guidelines for determining
which consumable parts need to be changed. Inspect all parts for dirt, debris, and
excess o-ring lubricant and clean as necessary.

Corrective Action
Replace outer cap.
Replace shield cap.

than: 0.040" (1mm) for 30A, 80A
0.060" (1.5mm) for 140A, 200A, 300A.
Replace electrode.
Apply a thin film of o-ring lubricant.
