Enclosure VPD label and Location Code

The enclosure VPD label is placed on the rear of a Disk Enclosure just above the enclosure LEDs (see Figure 5 DE

Concurrency

The DE Chassis is NOT concurrently maintainable. This procedure requires the customer to stop all
client applications and shut down the file system. .

DE Chassis Weight
The weight of the DE chassis is 550 lbs (250 kg) when filled with 376 hard drives, 8 SSDs, 96 Drive Carriers, 16
Port Cards, and 2 DE DCCAs. The transfer cart and the lift tool will be used to move both the damaged chassis
and the new chassis.
