3.15 Install the fans into the new DE <= SSR Task
STEP 64
Remove fan cover of the new DE (see Figure 61).
Locate the fan cover on the new DE and the three ¼ turn fasteners. Lift the handle on the ¼ turn
fasteners and rotate them ¼ turn counterclockwise. Lift the fan cover off the DE.

Insert the fans that were removed from the damaged chassis. Insert fan assemblies into all 12 fan
slots. The fan is fully seated when it is into the DE. To test this, after the fans are inserted, pull up
