Before replacing the adapter or device, remove the FRUs, one by one, to see if the symptoms change.

Reinstall each of the options or devices to the system one at a time, and power-on the system to see if the original problem occurs.

If any noise can be heard from the AC adapter when it is plugged into line voltage, replace the AC adapter with a new one.
