A communication error occurs between the
mainframe and RC Gate.
The user authentication data is cleared during a
firmware update. As a result, the new firmware
cannot be installed with RC Gate.
The following feature from a customization was
added as standard:
Sp5-055-001 (Display IP Address):
Displays the IP address on the second line of the
operation panel when the printer is in the Ready
condition.
0: OFF (default)
1: ON
Important: To use these new features, you need to install
all of the following firmware together as a set.
Websys v1.05 or later (P/N #G1045235C)
Controller v1.07.2 or later (P/N #G1045239F)
Printer v1.07.2 or later (P/N #G1045243F)
Sometimes, the firmware cannot be updated via RC
Gate.
The firmware cannot be updated if the administrator
password is blank.
If the device receives more than 300 login
attempts without cycling the power, the
administrator will not be able to login to the
device via WIM. If user code authentication is on,
users will not be able to print.
After a large number of documents (more than
9K) are printed in color, the device will stall.
Fixed: The menu for the ROM Update may not be
displayed in the WebImageMonitor.
