2-2 Fusing SP mode settings
To correct the fusing ability after reducing the fusing pressure, the following SP setting
changes are required.
[Fusing Temp.] Fusing Temperature
(Paper Type, Mode, Color, Process Speed)
Paper Type -> N: Plain paper 1, N2: Plain paper 2, TC: Thick, TN: Thin, SP:
Special, OHP

Mode -> Simple [one-sided] or Duplex
Color -> K: Black only, FC: Full color
Process Speed -> LS: Low speed, RS: Regular speed
Reload: Print ready, between jobs
Adjusts the fusing unit temperature for each mode.

3. Possible side effects
1) Poor fusing
Please make sure that toner is properly fused after the above modification. If not, slightly
loosen the two screws to increase fusing pressure
2) Fusing overheat
It is not recommended to make more than 150 prints continuously after this modification.
3) Glossiness of the image
The gloss of the image might be slightly changed.
