Automatic search
If for some reason no reflector is found after more than 3.5 seconds when the exposure control
is activated, an automatic search begins. During this search, the exposure time is continuously
increased and reduced between the minimum and maximum values until a reflector is detected.

A control gain setting that is too high can result in oscillations in the control response. In the
worst case, this may lead to a situation where control is no longer possible.
The exposure control parameters should only be changed by suitably trained personnel.

Use this parameter to activate or deactivate the in‐
tegrated exposure control.

Use this parameter to specify how fast a deviation in
exposure is corrected by the control. If the setting is
too low, the image is too bright during rapid hoist‐
ing and too dark during rapid lowering.

This parameter specifies the "Brightness value" for
creating an optimally exposed image in the form of
a percentage. Increasing this value makes it possi‐
ble to achieve a shorter exposure time (image ac‐
quisition time). However, because a high brightness
value results in image noise, it should be set as low
as possible.
