6.10 Clipper
installation procedure.
Cable preparation
Strip the cable outer sheath over the length indicated
in the table below :

19 pin connector with straight
extension
19 pin connector with bent
extension
26 pin connector with bent
extension
Strip each wire insulation over 5 mm.
Contact crimping :
Place the bare wire on the terminal to :
- crimp the copper in part A
- crimp copper + insulation in part B
Crimping tool : Clipper ref. : Y16SCM-GL3
Putting the contact in place
1. Tie the cable and connector assembly with a
plastic strap

- Pull the red retaining plate.
- Insert the contacts in their housing. The contact
is correctly inserted after going through a notch.

- Pinch the holding clips once all the contacts
are inserted.
