FAULT FINDING
SYMPTOM
BS turns itself off after firing and the display shows the BS
fault icon in the top right.
Two or more balls are being fed into the breech.
ETEK5 is inconsistent.
ETEK5 is inefficient.
Leaking rammer assembly (Leak gets louder when bolt is
removed).
When the ETEK5 powers up the LED flashes white or red.
The ETEK5 leaks out of the LPR body vent hole (small hole
behind the regulator sleeve on the left of the ETEK5 body).
POSSIBLE CAUSE
The sensor is dirty.
The sensor is faulty.
The sensor is out of place.
Worn/damaged Detents.
The feed force too high from loader.
The inline regulator is supercharging.
The dwell is too low.
Poor quality paintballs.
Poor paintball size to barrel bore match.
Inconsistent air supply from air system.
The dwell is excessively high
LPR is set too high.
Poor paintball size to barrel bore match
The front rammer shaft o-ring deteriorated.
The trigger is permanently depressed.
The LPR piston o-ring or either of the two LPR body o-rings
are damaged or dirty.
SOLUTION
Clean the BS.
Replace the BS.
Re-Install BS. Check alignment.
Change the rubber Detent.
Adjust loader settings/use lower force loader.
Strip and clean inline regulator, replacing SL4 regulator seal.
Increase the dwell setting.
Use better quality paintballs.
Use a closer paintball to barrel bore size.
Use a good quality air system.
Reduce the dwell.
Reduce LPR output pressure.
Use a closer paintball to barrel bore size.
Replace the front rammer shaft o-ring.
Turn the front stop set screw in the top of the trigger
counter-clockwise until the microswitch is released. If there
is insufficient trigger adjustment then turn the return force set
screw counter-clockwise also.
Clean and inspect the o-rings. Replace if damaged.
