USER SETTINGS
Name
Description
DATE & TIME
Set the date using the numeric buttons. Set the time
(24-hour clock) using the numeric buttons.
UNIT TELEPHONE #
Enter your fax number using the numeric buttons. (Up to
20 digits.)
UNIT NAME
This is the name that appears at the top of each fax page
you send (up to 24 characters). See page 3-10.
TX TERMINAL ID
This option sets the parameters for the identification
header that appears on every page you send. (TTI)
TTI POSITION
Select the position of the TTI.
OUTSIDE IMAGE: Position the TTI outside the image area.
INSIDE IMAGE: Position the TTI inside the image area.
SCAN CONTRAST
Set the density of the reproduction. Set to DARKER for
light originals and to LIGHTER for dark originals.
OFFHOOK ALARM
Enable/disable the off hook alarm. The alarm alerts you
that the handset is off its hook.
VOLUME CONTROL
Set the audio level of the calling signal, alarm and buttons
on the operation panel.
CALLING VOLUME
Set the volume of the ring produced when the MultiPASS
L60 detects a voice call during FAX/TEL switchover.
KEYPAD VOLUME
Set the volume of the keypad touch beep.
ALARM VOLUME
Set the volume of the error alarm sound.
LINE MONITOR
Set the volume of the line monitor (sound during dialling).
VOL
RX CALL LEVEL
Adjust the volume of incoming calls.
TEL LINE TYPE
Set the dialling method the MultiPASS L60 uses to match
the type of phone line you have.
R-KEY SETTING
Set the PBX type through which your unit is connected.
See page 8-2 for more details.
M-KEY SETTING
Set an access and ID code for the 2300 service of Mercury
(UK only)
Communications Limited. See page 6-45 for more details.
*The default setting for the UK and Singapore is TOUCH TONE.
