Problem
The printed output is
not what you expected?

Possible cause
There may be a
communication problem
between the MultiPASS
L60 and your PC.
The parallel interface
cable may not be securely
connected to the MultiPASS
L60 and the computer.
The parallel interface cable
may not be the correct type.
The parallel interface cable
may be too long.
You may not be using the
correct printer driver.
Previous software settings
may not be cleared.
Solution
Make sure the PC and
application are configured
correctly for communicating
with the MultiPASS L60.
See the MultiPASS Desktop
Manager User's Guide.
Check the parallel interface
cable's connections.
See page 2-15.
Make sure you are using a
bi-directional parallel
interface cable.
See page 2-15.
Make sure your parallel
interface cable is less than 2
metres long.
Make sure you have
selected the MultiPASS L60
Printer Driver in the
Printer's dialog box or from
your application's printer
dialog. See the MultiPASS
Desktop Manager User's
Guide.
Make sure the MultiPASS
L60 was cleared of the
previous software settings
before the print job started.
