! WARNING
When the pressure limiter is working, fuel flows out at a high tempera-
ture and pressure. Serious injury like scalding could result from this
hot fuel being blown out under pressure.

INSPECTING THE PRESSURE LIMITER
Unfasten the union bolt securing the pressure limiter.
Stop the return pipe No.1 side with a blank cap to prevent the outflow
of fuel.
Mount the union to the pressure limiter, and connect a vinyl hose to
the end of the union.
Place a fuel reservoir under the free end of the vinyl hose.
Start the engine. If the fuel continuously flows out, replace the pres-
sure limiter with a common rail assembly.
INSPECTING THE COMMON RAIL PRESSURE SENSOR
Using a circuit tester, measure the resistance between the terminals.
If the measured value is in excess of the standard value, replace the
common rail assembly.
