Diagnostics
Camera
Select the Diagnostics tab from the top, then click Camera.
The Camera Diagnostics page provides comprehensive support for technicians installing and troubleshooting the NVR's camera
installation.
Camera Status
•
Camera Name: Name of camera
•
IP Address: IP address of camera.
NOTE: Click on a camera's name or IP address (depending on if you are connected through the LAN 1 or LAN 2 port) to automatically
go to that camera's web-based configuration page.
•
Status: Operational status of camera. If camera is offline, it will display the reason.
Camera Ping Status
Select the following information to perform a camera ping test:
•
Packet Size: Possible value for packet size is 64, 128, 1024 and 2048 bytes.
•
Packet Count: Possible value for packet count is 10, 20 and 50.
•
Camera: Select an individual camera or click 'Select All'. To select multiple cameras, hold down the 'Ctrl' key and select
desired cameras. By default, 'Select All' option is selected.
Click the Go button to perform camera ping test. Packet loss for selected camera(s) will be displayed as a result.
