Firmware / Config

Select the Admin tab from the top, then click Firmware / Config.
The Firmware / Config page allows you to reboot the NVR, import / export configuration files, update firmware, as well as restore
factory settings.
Reboot
Click the Reboot Now button to immediately reboot the NVR
and apply any saved changes.
Changed configurations are not applied to the NVR until after it is
rebooted.
MNVR Configuration
Users can import and export configuration files from this
section. A configuration file saves all the NVR's configuration
settings, which can then be duplicated across multiple NVRs.
Export: To save a configuration file, confirm all
configuration settings are set appropriately, then click the
Export button. The web browser prompt appears.
Select Save File in the web browser prompt, then click OK.
The configuration file is automatically saved in the PC's
Downloads folder.
The configuration file is saved in the following format:
RR9000_[Serial number]_MM-DD-YYYY.xml
Import: To import a saved configuration file, click the
Browse... button.
Navigate to where the appropriate file is saved and click
Open.

NVR Firmware Update
To update the NVR's firmware, click the Download NVR
Firmware from Safety Vision link to be directed to Safety
Vision's FTP site.
PC must have internet access
Enter the following username and password to access Safety
Vision's FTP site:
Note: Username and password are case sensitive.
Confirm the appropriate file is displayed and click Import.
The configuration file is uploaded automatically.
Configuration files are interchangeable between NVRs,
however unique fields such as the vehicle name and
network information should be updated for each
individual NVR.
Changed configurations are not applied to the NVR until after
it is rebooted.
Click the Reboot Now button to immediately reboot the
NVR and apply any saved changes.
