GPS / GEO Fence

Select the Settings tab from the top, then click GPS / GEO Fence.
The GPS / GEO Fence page configures the GPS signal priority and sets up the Geo Fence feature.
GPS Priority
Use the dropdown menus in the GPS Priority fields to select
which device has priority in providing the NVR with GPS data.

Select either 1, 2, (or N/A if the device is unavailable) from
the dropdown menu to set the GPS priority for the GPS
device selected here.
Internal GPS is selected by default. If using a Garmin GPS
device, click in the Internal GPS box and select External
GPS.
For External GPS, select either Serial Port 1 if connected
to COM 1, or Serial Port 2 if connected to COM 2.
2. OMG: Select either 1, 2, or N/A from the drop-down menu
to set the GPS priority for the oMG Server.
NOTE: oMG Server must be enabled under the Network
Settings page in order to access this field.
Geo Fence
Geo fences can be created and configured to either trigger an
event when a vehicle enters or exits a geo fence, or the NVR
can announce itself to the SafetyNet server (ping the sever).
Location Name: Enter a name for the geo fence.
Get Current Location: Click the 'Get Current Location'

to redirect the map to the NVR's current
location (if desired).
Use the Circle and Polygon icons in the upper left-hand corner
of the map to create a geo fence. Users can draw 1 circle and

up to 5 polygons on the map (See Circle and Polygon below).
Circle
1. Navigate to the desired location on the map for
which you want to create a geo fence.
2. Click the circle icon in the upper left-hand corner of
the map.
3. Click and drag the mouse to draw a circle and
highlight the desired location.
You can further adjust the size by clicking and
dragging the image "handles". To delete and start
over, click the Delete Selected Shape button below
the map.
4. Use the drop-down menus below the map for the
geo fence created, and select either Entry or Exit,
and the action that occurs. Select Event to trigger
an event, or SVAnnounce to ping the server.
NOTE: Safety Net Announce must be set to 'Geo fence'
under the Startup & Shutdown settings page in order
to select SVAnnounce.
Polygon
1. Navigate to the desired location on the map for
which you want to set up a geo fence.
2. Click the polygon icon in the upper left-hand corner
of the map.
