Users / Passwords
Select the Admin tab from the top, then click Users / Passwords.
The Users / Passwords page allows users to change passwords for logging in to the webUI and the password required to access
the NVR's LCD Control Panel.
WebUI Password
Change password for logging in to the NVR's webUI.
•
User: Select the user for which you want to change the
webUI password. Different levels of user access can be
selected from the dropdown menu:
◦ admin
(default password:
webUI.
◦ user
(default password:
webUI except the pages under the Admin tab.
◦ Viewer
(default password:
Live View and Change Password pages.
These are all default passwords. It is highly
recommended that the password be changed for
security.
•
Admin Password: Enter the current admin password in
order to change passwords for any user.
•
New Password: Enter a new password for the selected
user.
New password should be 3-25 characters long.
•
Confirm Password: Re-enter the new password for
confirmation.
Click the Change password button to save changed entries.

Change password required to access the NVR's LCD Control
Panel, used for initiating manual offloads, removing primary
SSD or for aborting the SafetyNet offload process.
•
Old password: Enter the current password to access the
NVR's LCD Control Panel.
The default password is "abc123". It is highly recommended
that the password be changed for security.
•
New Password: Enter a new password for the NVR's LCD
Control Panel.
New password should be 6 alphanumeric characters long.
•
Confirm Password: Re-enter the new password for
confirmation.
Click the Change password button to save changed entries.
