Navigate to and select the correct NVR firmware package to download. The web browser prompt appears.
Select Save File in the web browser prompt, then click OK. The firmware file is automatically saved in the PC's Downloads folder.
Click the Browse... button and navigate to where the firmware file (.tgz file) is saved, then click Open.
Confirm the appropriate file is displayed, then click Upload File. A status bar appears as the firmware update is automatically
applied.
The NVR will immediately reboot on its own after firmware update.
Camera Firmware Update
Select the Camera Firmware Update option to update camera(s)
firmware through the NVR. This feature is only available for Gen 2,
Gen 3 and AXIS cameras.
Click the Browse... button. A navigation prompt appears.
Navigate to the location of the new firmware file, then click Open.
Confirm the appropriate file is displayed, then click Upload File. A status bar appears as the firmware file is uploaded.
Once the firmware file is uploaded successfully, select the appropriate camera(s) to which firmware will be applied, then click the
Update button.
Camera(s) will reboot automatically after firmware update.
Restore Factory Default
Select the Restore NVR Factory Default button to automatically restore all configuration options to their factory default settings
and immediately reboot the NVR.
WARNING: Selecting this option immediately changes any previously changed settings to the factory default.
