STEERING HOOKS

A steering hook is necessary in order to guide any
boat from the helm. Some Yamaha outboard
motors come with a steering hook as standard
equipment, or are designed to accommodate a
hook for later adaptation to remote steering. This
is the case with the 25hp and 40hp (manual)
motors. Different steering hook designs are used
on Yamaha outboard motors.
