Enable RTC battery and confirm the

watchdog link is correctly installed
Install unit and connect safety earth lead to

cabinet earth point

Connect digital IO

Complete post installation check
12 Identify all connectors/cable forms

Connect all connectors to the unit

Connect the unit to mains outlet

Switch on unit supply
16 Connect unit support battery

Section 4.2 takes you through the steps that 'configure' the hardware before the unit is
installed.
Sections 4.3, 4.4 and 4.5 take you through the steps to install the unit.
And finally, section 4.6 takes you through all the steps involved in connecting up all the
various interfaces to the unit.
The unit, prior to its installation and commissioning, requires configuring for the type of
application, either on site or at a depot.
