Due to its size, it is not possible to mount this modem onto the back of the Gemini
PSU. Connection of the mobile router will also require installation of an associated pole
top antenna. Instructions for the complete setup can be found in the installation
procedure 667-CI-45025-000
The standard PSU is a 127mm long, 76.2mm wide and 37mm high OEM unit, which
supplies the system with +13.65V.
The Outstation uses a float charged battery held within the PSU case to provide
outstation backup in the event of mains failure.

2.9.1 PSU Features

The main features of the PSU are:
(a)
A wide range of AC input voltage
(b)
3000V isolation from the mains
(c)
It can be powered by a 12V to 15V DC input supply
(d)
A single 12V sealed lead acid battery
(e)
Automatic switching to the battery support in the event of mains failure to the
system
(f)
Automatic battery recharge on restoration of mains supply to the system
(g)
A minimum 3 year battery life
(h)
Zero Cross Over – mains supply voltage timing circuit
(i)
Two High Voltage photo-coupled isolated inputs.
The expansion bus is a set of 64 way expansion connectors. Each card plugs into the
previous card.
All cards provide buffering for Address, Data and Control signals and distribute the logic
supplies.
