TP Cable Advantages

Twisted pair cable is much smaller, lighter, more flexible, and less expensive than coaxial
or HDMI cable. These transmitter and receiver twisted pair (TP) products make cable runs
simpler and less cumbersome. Termination of the cable with RJ‑45 connectors is simple,
quick, and economical.

cable to link the transmitter and receiver. The DTP3 T/R do not work properly with
these cables.

Typical DTP3 Transmitter and Receiver Application
Transmits HDMI plus control up to 330' (100 m) over a shielded twisted pair
cable — The devices provide high reliability and maximum performance on an
economical and easily installed cable infrastructure.
Supports computer and video resolutions up to 4K/60 @ 4:4:4 — Support of
4K/60 at 4:4:4 color sampling requires connection to matching DTP3 products.
Stereo audio de-embedding (DTP3 R 201) — The captive screw stereo output is
selectable for de‑embedded or pass‑through analog audio.
Buffered HDMI input loop-through (DTP3 T 202) — Features an active HDMI
loop‑through for local monitor support or system expansion.
EDID Minder® automatically manages EDID communication between
connected devices (DTP3 T 202) — EDID Minder ensures that the source powers up
properly and reliably outputs content for display.
