Settings (Hardware Settings)— Displays the Hardware Settings dialog box with

device information and side tabs to change the device name, internal clock, and
password of the connected device.
Reset Device — Opens the Reset Device dialog box, with selectable modes for
•
resetting the connected device.
NOTE: The factory configured password for all accounts on this device have been
set to the device serial number. In the event of a complete system reset, the
passwords convert to the default, which is extron for this device.
• Backup — Exports all audio, video, and communication settings of the connected
device to a configuration file on the PC. This exported configuration can be saved as a
backup, or be used to replicate settings from one device to other devices of the same
model.
• Restore — Opens a submenu with the following options:
Restore this Device — Loads a saved configuration file for the same device
•
model to the connected device.
It also contains an Edit Communication Settings button, which provides an
alternative method of accessing the Communication Settings dialog box.
Restore to Multiple Devices — Loads a saved configuration file for the same
•
device model to multiple devices.
Update Firmware — Begins the process to upload and update the firmware to this
•
device.
• DTP3 R 201 Help — Opens the PCS Help File in a separate window.
About This Module — Opens the About This Module dialog box, displaying the PCS
•
module part number and version.

PCS Software Menu

right side of the screen, contains options pertaining
to PCS and its settings.
