5. Lubricate the inner rim of the bearing housing cover and press the shaft
seal (figure 18, point B) into the bearing housing cover, making sure that it
is correctly oriented.
Make sure that the shaft seal is installed in the correct way (figure 19).
6. Place the retainer ring (figure 18, point A) into to the groove on the inner
rim of the bearing housing cover (figure 18, point C).
