3. Place the bearings into the bearing housing and press them on to the shaft
together (figure 16). Please note that the bearings must be installed in the
correct way. See figure 17.
4. Position the lock washer on to the shaft and screw the shaft nut in place.
Tighten the nut by first tightening it against the bearings by hand and then
use a shaft nut wrench to tighten it enough to make one of the teeth of the
lock washer connect with the groove in the nut. Finish by turning the tooth
of the lock washer into the shaft nut groove (figure 16, point A).
