CLI command explanations

Command Line Interface commands are listed
alphabetically with explanations of what they are
used for, their defaults and syntax.
CAUTION
CAUTION
Do not use CLI unless you are directed to
by an ATTO technician.
Changing parameters may cause loss of
data and/or disruption to performance and
reliability of the FastStream.
The ExpressNAV interface is the preferred
method to operate and manage the
FastStream VT. Refer to
on page 27 for details
AutoMap
Automap automatically maps a subset of target
devices visible to the firmware. All previous maps are
deleted.
If
FCMultiNode
is enabled: AutoMap [fp]
SaveConfiguration command required
If
FCMultiNode
is disabled: AutoMap
AutoResume
Regulates the automatic continue feature for interrupted
operations at startup. If enabled, all interrupted
operations are continued at startup. If no GroupName
is specified, all existing RAID groups are affected.
Default: all enabled
set AutoResume Rebuild [enabled | disabled]

BlockDevClean
Removes any ATTO configuration data from the block
device with the specified BlockDevID.
BlockDevClean [BlockDevID]
WARNING
All RAID group setup information and RAID
group data is lost if you use the
BlockDevClean command.
BlockDevIdentify
Causes the I/O LED of the drive to illuminate for one
minute if it is accessible through the SCSI port

The BlockDevIdentify command is
intended for diagnostic purposes only.
BlockDevIdentify <GroupName> [BlockDevID | Member
BlockDevIDStop
Turns off the IO LED of a previously identified disk drive.
BlockDevIDStop
BlockDevScan
Lists all currently connected physical drives along with

any potential RAID group association. Each block device
listed is assigned a unique index at the time of the scan to
identify drives for other CLI operations. Include the
flush parameter to force discovery of all block devices.
The flush parameter also forces existing RAID groups
offline until member block devices are discovered.
BlockDevScan <flush>
BridgeModel
Reports model information about the FastStream.
get BridgeModel
BridgeName
Allows you to specify an eight-character name to an
individual FastStream unit. It is not the World Wide
Name. The string is alphanumeric, eight characters long,.

ClearEventLog
Clears the contents of the event log. No new entries are
recorded until the command has completed.
Date
Regulates the current date for this unit. The possible date
range is 1/1/2000 to 12/31/2099.
Default: 01/01/2000
set Date [MM] /.[DD]/ [YYYY]
get Date
Executing this command may adversely
impact the performance and throughput of
the FastStream for the time that the LED is
illuminated.
