Each Logic function consists of a three-input lookup table. There are eight rows in the table, one row
for each possible combination of values of the three inputs. For each of the eight rows, you specify
an output value for the logic function, either 0 or 1. For an example, where "1" is On and "0" is off,
consider the logic function ((A and B) or not C). This function outputs a 1 value when A=1 and B=1,
or when C=0. The lookup table defining this function appears in Table 10.
Functions of more than three variables may be constructed by using the output of one logic element
as the input to a second logic element, and so on.
The Logic Output signals are numbered 1 through 8.
The CLMD16 provides a single alarm output circuit to drive an alarm or relay. There are two
terminals: Alarm Power (pin J3-16), and Alarm Ground (pin J3-22). Both of these pins are switched.
They are connected to power and ground, when an Alarm Input signal is detected, and both become
high impedance when the Alarm Input signal is Off or not detected.
The Alarm function has the following input signals:
Alarm Enable – when the Input signal is detected, this signal will cause the alarm output circuit to
be Connected.
