To resolve the issue of the Quadient iX-5 not sending special deliveries and the audit failing, follow these steps:

1. Check Network Connection: Ensure the device is properly connected to the network by using the Ping Tool or IP Configuration Checker in the diagnostic menu.

2. Perform a System Diagnostic:
- Log in as a supervisor.
- Navigate to Maintenance > Diagnostics.
- Run the available tests to identify any issues.

3. Verify Account and Credit Status:
- Ensure there is sufficient credit in the account.
- Check Money Operations > Managing Credit to verify fund availability.

4. Unlock the PSD (Postal Security Device):
- If the audit fails, the device may require unlocking.
- Go to Money Operations > Unlocking the PSD and follow the on-screen instructions.

5. Restart the Device:
- Power off the machine, wait a few minutes, and turn it back on to reset any temporary issues.

6. Contact Support:
- If the issue persists and the device is at risk of being locked, contact your dealer or Quadient support for assistance.

Following these steps should help resolve the issue and prevent the device from being locked.
