MAINTAINING YOUR OVEN

THE OVEN :
* Let the oven cool down before doing any manual cleaning.
* Never use abrasive products, metallic sponges or sharp objects to clean your oven, the enamel will be permanently
damaged.
* Use only soapy water or liquid ammonia-based products.
GLASS SURFACES -
Each time the oven has been used, the glass door panel should be wiped with absorbent paper. If there is heavy staining, it can
be cleaned with a sponge and a detergent product. Never use abrasive products or sharps objects.
THE OVEN DOOR GASKET -
Clean with a sponge and detergent.
THE SHELVES -
Clean with a sponge soaked in soapy water. Rinse with clean water and dry.
Do not use abrasive products.
THE DRIP TRAY -
After using the grill, remove the drip-tray from the oven. Pour any fat into a recipient.
Wash and rinse the drip-tray in hot water with a sponge soaked in detergent.
If the stains still remain, leave it to soak in water with detergent.
It can also be cleaned in a dishwasher or with a commercially available product.
Never put a dirty drip-tray back in the oven.
THE BAKING TRAY -
Clean the baking tray with a lightly-soaped scouring pad, rinse and dry.
OVEN LIGHT -
Disconnect the appliance from the power supply before carrying out any cleaning job on the light or before replacing the lamp. The
lamp and its cover are made of a special glass, which can withstand very high temperatures. To replace the lamp, simply unscrew
the glass cover, remove the lamp, fit a new one of the same type, and screw the protective cover back on.
NEVER COVER THE OVEN WALLS AND ESPECIALLY THE OVEN BOTTOM WITH ALUMINIUM FOIL. IT CONCENTRATES THE
HEAT AND CAUSES DETERIORATION OF THE ENAMEL.
