USING THE OVEN

Warning:
. While the oven is working, the door gets hot. Keep children away from it.
. Never cover the inner walls and bottom of the oven with aluminium foil. The concentrated heat
so produced would damage the enamel.
1. Setting a temperature : turn the thermostat knob to the required cooking temperature.
Each cooking method allows a choice of temperatures within the range indicated in the table below, except for the
Defroster and the Warmer for the FE 5573 RU model.
2. Selecting a cooking method : turn the oven control knob to the method required (see pages 23 and 24).
3. Regulating the programmer : display both the manual position and cooking time, with or without a deferred start.
Refer to the chapter entitled "The Programmer" (pages 21 and 22).
. Natural convection : between 60°C and 280°C,
. Defroster : knob in off position,
For model FE 5573 RU : temperature
pre-set at 40°C
. Bottom element alone : between 60°C and 280°C,
. Grill : maximum temperature of 280°C,
can be regulated between 60°C and 280°C.
The "power on" indicator light comes on when the oven is operating and remains on for the whole of the cooking time.
For models FE 5143 RU - FE 5563 RU : the regulator indicator light shows that the thermostat function is engaged. It
comes on and off regularly during cooking.
For model FE 5573 RU : the regulator indicator light remains on until the selected temperature has been reached.
. Fan oven : between 60°C and 240°C,
. Bottom element & fan : between 60°C and 240°C,
. Turbo-grill : between 60°C and 230°C.
. Rotisserie : maximum temperature of 280°C.
Can be regulated between 180°C and 280°C.
. Warmer : temperature pre-set at a constant 60°C.
Thermostat knob in "off" position.
