Performance characteristics

Control principle
Supply system for patient flow
Maximum continuous inspiratory flow
Device resistance during device failure
The resistance is specified for the breathing circuit,
i.e., between the emergency breathing valve (un-
derpressure), the expiratory valve, and the patient
connection. The specified resistances take the
breathing gas humidifier in account where neces-
sary but not additional accessories such as bacte-
rial filters or HMEs. See the applicable instructions
for use for these components for the resistance.
