Troubleshooting

Notice! Damage to instrument!
Improperly performed repairs may damage the instrument.

Do not repair the instrument yourself. Always notify your immediate
supervisor or contact your Service Center.
Malfunction
The instrument cannot be
switched on.
The computer cannot be
switched on.
The monitor cannot be
switched on.
Nothing can be entered
with the keyboard.
Nothing can be entered
with the mouse.
The X-ray tube cannot be
switched on.

Cause
The power plug is not
plugged in properly.
The key switch is in the
horizontal position.
Defective fuse.
The power plug is not
plugged in properly.
The power plug is not
plugged in properly.
The monitor is not on.
The keyboard is not
properly connected.
The keyboard is defective. Please contact your Service
The mouse is not properly
connected.
The mouse is defective.
The sample chamber lid is
not closed and the shutter
is open at the same time.
Defective safety switches
or defective
tube/generator.
Troubleshooting
Remedy
Insert in the power supply plug
properly.
Turn the key switch to its vertical
position.
Check the fuse (at the rear of the
instrument).

Check the keyboard connection
to the computer.
