Transportation / Setting-up
Only instructed personnel may transport, unpack, install, and start up the
instrument.
Information: Measurement errors!
Shocks to the instrument during the measuring process may result in
measurement errors.
Measurement errors may result from temperature differences inside the
instrument.
Notice! Damage to instrument
If the instrument is to be moved to another place of installation after set-up, there
is a risk of damaging the instrument. Contact the SPECTRO Service Department
in this matter.
Compliance with the following information is required regarding the instrument's
transport and setup:
Always transport the instrument in a horizontal position, ensuring its legs are
pointing down. Always have two persons transport the instrument! To this
end, use both of your hands to reach underneath the housing.
Avoid mechanical impacts.
Save the shipping box in case you have to ship the instrument to the service
department at a later date.
All connections are located at the rear side.
Set up the instrument to ensure the power isolators (switches and power
cable) can be easily reached.
When setting up the instrument, ensure that all sides are easy to access
for maintenance, repair and connection/disconnection purposes.
All necessary cables are included in the delivery.

Therefore, shocks to the instrument when taking measurements must
be avoided.
Avoid mechanical impacts.
Install the instrument so that it cannot heat up on one side only.
