Troubleshooting
Malfunction
No image is displayed
when the video image is
selected in the software
program.
When starting the
measurement, the high
voltage is shut off.
No spectrum is displayed
when the measurement is
started.
The analysis results for
the control sample
indicate large deviations.

Cause
The video cable (USB3) is
not connected or is not
correctly connected ("Live
stream not available").
The video settings in the
software program have
been altered (black
image).
Defective cable, video card
or camera ("Live stream
not available").
Defective safety switches
or defective tube.
There is no sample at the
measurement position.
Defective shutter, stop
mechanism, excitation
system or detection
system.
There is no proper sample
at the measurement
position or no sample at
all.
The MCA calibration was
not optimal.
Other malfunctions in the
system.
Remedy
Connect the cable and check that
both plugs are inserted correctly.(
Notice! USB3 does not work in a
USB2 jack).
Check video settings and correct
them if necessary (e.g., light).
