5 OPERATING THE DEVICE

Menu

The menu can be called up with the Enter button (T6) as soon as the control unit is in the "System OK" status.
The menu can be used to change the configuration of the device.

WARNING!
The following buttons are used in the menu for navigation:
Up (T1) / Down (T3) buttons for navigating in the menu or changing a value
Left (T2) / Right (T4) buttons for moving the cursor when changing a numeric value.
Enter (T6) button to navigate to a lower menu level and to access the mode where a value can be changed.
In addition, this button is used to save the configuration when exiting the menu.
Back (T5) button to exit the mode for changing a value and to navigate to higher menu level.
When the top level has been reached, the next button press exits the menu.

Risk of fire and risk of damage to the magnet!
With incorrect configuration, the device or the connected magnet can be
damaged. There is also a risk of fire if a connected magnet can overheat
due to e.g. the voltage being set too high.
Changes to the configuration of the control unit may only be made by
qualified personnel. Additionally, there are values which may only be
changed by an SAV service engineer or upon agreement with them
(menu "configuration  magnet type" and "Configuration  El. mag.
PWM").
When setting up the device, a clamping or releasing process can be trig-
gered in the menu to test the configuration. An enable signal is not given.
During set-up, safety measures must be specified which meet the special
conditions of the device / the machine.
Risk of injury and risk of damage to the machine!
Risk of fire and risk of damage to the magnet!
The values set in the menu are only saved after exiting the menu.
There is also a risk of fire if a connected magnet can overheat due to e.g.
the voltage being set too high.
If the power supply is switched off or fails during parameter configura-
tion, the set parameters have to be checked.
