4. ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION AND INTERFACES
The safety information from item 2 Safety must be observed.
These tasks may only be carried out by a trained qualified person (see 2.4 Personnel qualification).

Risk of electric shock!
An electric shock can cause death or serious injury.
Connecting and disconnecting the power supply and magnet connection
always has to be carried out with the control unit switched off, discon-
nected from the power supply and secured against reactivation.
Before disconnecting, the control unit has to be disconnected from the
power supply and a discharge period of 2 minutes has to elapse before
the power supply and magnet connection terminals can be touched.
NOTE!
The electrical connection requirements on site must correspond to the
information on the type plate of the device. This applies to connecting
the control unit in the control cabinet and to the electrical data of the
magnet to be used.
